Policies & Guidelines
• What to wear to your first session: I will be doing an evaluation in your first session. Pls wear clothes that clearly allow me to see the outline of your body as you move. Nothing too baggy. Or wear layers that can be removed.
• Want to gift an Egoscue session to a friend or family member? Package sessions are transferable!
• Cancellation policy: Cancellations can be sent by text or email. Cancellations within 24hrs are charged.
• Expiration of Sessions: Sessions expire after 1 year.
• Questions about your program in between sessions? Don’t hesitate to email!
• Take responsibility for your safety at all times. If an exercise on your at-home egoscue program doesn’t feel right or causes sharp pain, skip it, go on to the next one, and ask me about it.
• Communicate - be honest about your goals, limitations, fears, and any other relevant information.
• Consistency will be key to your results.
• Learn about your body. There are almost certainly key fundamentals you are missing. Learning will happen in the session, but can additionally happen with a few key books. Eg Pain Free by Pete Egoscue.
• Shoes - three things I look for in a shoe: wide toe box, zero drop heel, and some flexibility in the sole (not too thick and stiff). There can be exceptions to this with some foot conditions.
• Breathe - healthy breathing is a pillar of well-being, alongside nutrition, hydration, and sleep.
• Small improvements compound - small changes in multiple areas can add up to big outcomes!
